Enterprise applications
Enterprise platforms are where most of an organisation's process actually lives, and where most outsourced support goes wrong, handed to a rotating queue that closes tickets without understanding the operation behind them. Corpshore Canada implements, integrates and supports enterprise applications including ERP and CRM platforms, plus API and integration engineering, from Canadian pods in your time zone at 35 to 55 percent of the cost of equivalent in-house Canadian hiring. The pod learns your configuration and your process and stays on it, so the platform is maintained by people who understand your operation rather than a stranger reading a ticket. We favour incremental improvement over disruptive re-implementation, and data residency is configured to your requirement including Canadian-only hosting where a public sector buyer asks. Eligible integration and customisation work is documented for Scientific Research and Experimental Development credits where it qualifies.
How the service works
- 1
Discovery and fit assessment
We map how the platform is actually used against how it was configured, including the workarounds people have built in spreadsheets around its gaps. That tells us where the real friction is and where a customisation is fighting the product rather than fixing it. The output is a prioritised plan that separates the changes worth making from the ones that add maintenance for little return.
- 2
Implementation and integration
We configure and extend the platform to your process, and build the integrations that connect it to the rest of your estate through governed APIs rather than brittle point-to-point links. Changes are made in your release process with testing, so an enterprise platform change does not become an operational incident. Where the work qualifies we document Scientific Research and Experimental Development activity contemporaneously.
- 3
Data and cutover
Where an implementation or migration is involved we treat data as the risk it is, mapping, cleaning and reconciling it before cutover rather than discovering the gaps afterwards. Cutovers are rehearsed with a tested rollback, and we favour phased release over a single high-risk switch. Users are trained on the process rather than only the screens, so adoption survives go-live.
- 4
Support and continuous improvement
In steady state the same pod supports the platform and improves it, working to your release cadence and standards rather than a separate support silo. Enhancements are prioritised against business value, and the workarounds discovered in discovery are retired one by one. Governance runs on an agreed cadence so platform risk and technical debt are visible rather than accumulating unseen until an upgrade forces them into view.
How we deliver it from Canada
Delivery is from Canadian pods in Ontario, Quebec and Alberta, in English and Canadian French, with full working-hours overlap across Eastern, Central and Mountain time. We work in your platform tenants, your release process and your tooling rather than ours, so configuration, audit and support history stay in one place. Data residency is configured to your requirement including Canadian-only hosting where a public sector buyer asks.
Squad, 3 to 6 specialists
A functional and technical pod under a lead, suited to a defined implementation, integration programme or a platform you want properly supported and improved.
Platform team, 7 to 12
Functional consultants, integration engineers and a support lead, with change and enhancement throughput and platform risk reported separately.
Practice, 12 and above
An enterprise applications practice with an engineering manager, cross-platform integration standards and a blended Canadian and distributed model where a scarce skill requires it.
Compliance and data handling
Enterprise application work complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act by default, with Quebec Law 25 requirements applied where personal information of Quebec residents is held in the platform. Controls follow the relevant group framework, with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 readiness supported where the business requires it and certification scope confirmed on request. Data residency and cross-border transfer positions are documented explicitly wherever platform data is stored or supported from outside Canada.
Technology
We work in your enterprise platforms rather than steering you to ours, across common ERP and CRM products, integration and API tooling and the low-code extensions these platforms provide. Integrations are built through governed APIs and monitored rather than left as unowned point-to-point links. Specific platform depth is confirmed against your environment during discovery rather than claimed generically, and customisation is used sparingly so upgrades stay affordable.
How performance is measured
- Ticket resolution time and first-time-right rate
- Change and enhancement throughput against the backlog
- Integration reliability and error rate
- User adoption and process compliance after go-live
- Platform technical debt and customisation burden
Reporting covers support performance, enhancement throughput and platform risk on an agreed cadence, prepared so a business owner can see whether the platform is helping or hindering the operation. Where customisation or technical debt is building toward an expensive upgrade we surface it early with a recommendation, so the cost of an over-customised platform is a decision taken deliberately rather than a bill that arrives with the next major release.
Where this applies
Financial services
CRM and core platform configuration, integration and support with a change and controls posture a risk function can review, and sensitive data kept in Canada.
Government and public sector
ERP and case management implementation and support with Canadian-only data residency where the mandate requires it, and audit built into every change.
Energy and natural resources
Asset, field service and back-office platform integration for distributed operations across Alberta and western Canada, supported in Mountain time.
Pricing and engagement models
Enterprise application work is priced as a project for a defined implementation or integration, a managed support and enhancement service, or staff augmentation into your existing platform team. A project suits a bounded implementation; a managed service suits a platform that has to run and keep improving; augmentation suits a specific product skills gap. We favour incremental improvement over re-implementation because a re-platform bills large and disrupts more than it fixes.
Frequently asked questions
Can you support a platform someone else implemented?
Yes, and it is common. We start by mapping how the platform is actually configured and used, including the undocumented customisations and the spreadsheet workarounds around its gaps, before we change anything. The pod that learns your configuration on support is the one that improves it well later, rather than a queue that closes tickets without understanding the operation.
Should we customise the platform or change our process?
Often the honest answer is to change the process, because a customisation that fights the product becomes a maintenance cost and an upgrade blocker for years. We assess each proposed change on that basis and tell you where the platform already does what you need, so you customise deliberately for genuine differentiation rather than to preserve a habit.
How do you reduce the risk of a go-live?
By treating data and adoption as the real risks rather than the configuration. We map, clean and reconcile data before cutover, rehearse the cutover with a tested rollback, favour phased release over a single switch and train users on the process rather than only the screens, so adoption holds up after the project team leaves.
Do your integrations lock us in?
No. We build integrations through governed, documented APIs that you own, with monitoring and error handling, rather than brittle point-to-point links only we understand. The design goal is an estate your own team can operate and extend, so the value stays with you rather than becoming a dependency on the party that built it.
Where does our platform data reside?
Data residency is configured to your requirement, including Canadian-only hosting where a public sector buyer or your own policy requires it. We work inside your platform tenants rather than copying data into ours, and where any support is provided from outside Canada the cross-border position is documented before go-live rather than assumed after it.
Can this work qualify for SR&ED credits?
Some integration and customisation work involves genuine technical uncertainty that may qualify for Scientific Research and Experimental Development credits, and we document eligible activity contemporaneously with your finance team where it does. We are not a tax advisor, and the SR&ED explainer on this site sets out the general position and points you to your own accountant.
