Solutions d'IA

Spécialiste de l'annotation juridique et réglementaire, bilingue

À propos du poste

Canada runs two legal traditions side by side: common law in nine provinces and the civil law of Quebec, in two languages, with federal legislation enacted in both and equally authoritative. That makes Canadian legal data genuinely difficult and genuinely valuable to model developers, and it makes Canadian bilingual legal expertise scarce.

You will evaluate and annotate legal and regulatory content in both languages. Fully remote across Canada, minimum fifteen hours weekly, designed to fit alongside practice or study.

Vos responsabilités

Evaluate model output on legal and regulatory questions for accuracy, jurisdictional correctness and whether the model appropriately declines to give legal advice. Annotate legislation, regulation, case law and contractual language in English and French. Assess whether a model correctly distinguishes common law from Quebec civil law, and federal from provincial jurisdiction, which is where general models most often fail on Canadian content. Verify bilingual legal terminology against authoritative sources, since the French and English versions of federal statutes are equally authoritative and neither is a translation of the other. Author reference responses using precise legal language. Flag guideline gaps that would produce legally misleading labelling.

Votre profil

A law degree, paralegal qualification, or substantial regulatory or compliance experience. Working knowledge of the Canadian legal system, including the common law and civil law distinction. English and French both at C1, including legal terminology in both. Precision, and the discipline to distinguish what the law says from what it is commonly assumed to say.

Atouts supplémentaires

Called to a Canadian bar, or a member of the Barreau du Québec or Chambre des notaires. Legal translation or jurilinguistic experience. Privacy, financial services or employment law depth. Legal research or publishing experience.

Ce que nous offrons

Rates reflecting a genuinely scarce combination of legal training and bilingual capability. Fully remote and flexible. Paid guideline training. Work at the intersection of Canadian law and AI, which is a field rather than a task. Routes into review lead and programme design.
