1. About this policy

This cookie policy explains how corpshore.ca, operated by Corpshore Canada, the Canadian operation of Corpshore Solutions Corporation, uses cookies and similar technologies, what each one does, how long it lasts, and how you can control it. It should be read with our privacy policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally, and with our data governance and cross-border transfers notice. By using this site you agree to strictly necessary cookies, which the site needs to function. Optional cookies load only if and when you choose to accept them, and you stay in control of that choice at all times.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser so it can remember information between pages and visits, such as your language or your privacy choices. Similar technologies include browser local storage and tags or pixels used for measurement. In this policy we refer to all of these as cookies. Cookies can be first-party, set by us, or third-party, set by a provider whose service is used on the page. They can be session cookies, which are deleted when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, which remain for a set period.

3. Our approach

We take a privacy-first approach. This site defaults to strictly necessary only. No analytics or measurement cookies are set until you actively accept them in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the site footer, and declining optional cookies does not affect your ability to browse the site or use its core features. We keep the number of cookies to the minimum the site needs, we do not use cookies for third-party advertising, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.

4. The categories of cookies we use

We group cookies into two categories.

4.1 Strictly necessary and functional cookies (always on)

These make the site work and remember your basic preferences. They do not require consent because the site cannot function properly without them:

• NEXT_LOCALE (first-party, persistent): remembers whether you chose English or French so pages load in the language you selected.
• theme (first-party, persistent): remembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance.
• cookie consent record (first-party, persistent, about twelve months): records your cookie choices so we do not ask again and so we can honour your decision.

These cookies do not track you across other sites and are not used for advertising.

4.2 Analytics and performance cookies (only with your consent)

These help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it. They load only after you accept analytics in the banner:

• Google Analytics (GA4) (third-party): aggregate measurement of pages, sessions and events. We enable internet-protocol-address anonymisation.
• Microsoft Clarity (third-party): aggregate interaction and session-quality measurement, such as which elements are used.
• Vercel (first-party, privacy-respecting): page and event counts without cross-site tracking.

When you interact with an embedded tool such as the Calendly scheduling widget or the Cloudflare Turnstile check on a form, that provider may set a cookie strictly to deliver the feature you asked for.

4a. Why the analytics cookies need your consent

The strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent because the site cannot work properly without them. The analytics cookies are different: they are not needed for the site to function, they involve a third party in the case of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, and they measure how you use the site. For those reasons we ask for your consent before we set them, we keep them off by default, and we set them only after you accept. This reflects the direction of Canadian privacy law and of Quebec Law 25, which treats technology that identifies, locates or profiles a person as requiring transparency and, where it is not strictly necessary, consent.

5. Consent and how it is recorded

When you first visit, the cookie banner lets you accept analytics or keep strictly necessary only. Your choice is stored together with a version number and a timestamp, so we can demonstrate the consent you gave and ask again if this policy changes materially. If you accept and later change your mind, or if you decline and later opt in, use the cookie settings link in the footer at any time. Withdrawing consent stops the analytics cookies from loading on your next page views; information already collected in aggregate before you withdrew cannot always be separated out, but it does not identify you.

6. Controlling cookies in your browser

Beyond our banner, you can control cookies directly in your browser. Most browsers let you view the cookies stored, delete some or all of them, and block cookies from specific sites or from all sites. You will find these controls in your browser's privacy or security settings. Please note that blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, may stop parts of this or other sites from working. Because cookie settings are specific to each browser and device, you will need to set your preferences on each browser and device you use.

6a. Cookies and your personal information

Some cookies, such as the strictly necessary ones, do not identify you. Others, such as the analytics cookies, may involve information that, alone or combined, relates to you, for example an internet-protocol address. Where a cookie involves personal information, we handle that information in accordance with our privacy policy, including its rules on purposes, retention, safeguards and your rights. The analytics providers process the information they collect as described in their own privacy notices, under contractual terms with us.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a Do Not Track signal. There is no consistent industry standard for how sites should respond to it, so we rely on our cookie banner and the controls described above rather than on Do Not Track. We do not track you across other websites for advertising. Similarly, our site is designed to work without third-party advertising cookies, and we do not use cookies to build advertising profiles about you.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this cookie policy as the site and the tools it uses change. When we make a material change we will update the date on this page and, where the change affects your choices, ask for your consent again. Please review this policy from time to time.

8a. Third-party providers and their cookies

The third-party analytics providers and the embedded tools described above set their cookies under their own privacy notices and terms, which we encourage you to read. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity provide aggregate measurement and load only after you accept analytics. Calendly and Cloudflare Turnstile operate features you choose to use, such as booking a call or completing a form check, and set cookies only to deliver that feature. We do not permit these providers to use the information collected through our site to build advertising profiles about you.
