Acceptable use policy

1. About this policy

This acceptable use policy sets out the rules for using corpshore.ca, operated by Corpshore Canada, the Canadian operation of Corpshore Solutions Corporation. It forms part of our terms and conditions. By using the site you agree to follow this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. This policy applies to everyone who accesses the site, whether or not they submit an enquiry or apply for a role, and it applies each time you use the site.

2. Permitted use

You may use the site to learn about our services, read our published guidance, contact us, request a proposal, book a discovery call, apply for a role, and subscribe to communications you have asked to receive. You may view and, for your own internal and non-commercial evaluation, keep copies of the content, subject to the intellectual-property terms in our terms and conditions. Use of the site must always be lawful, honest and respectful of others and of the site itself, and you must not use it in a way that could harm us, our other users, or the people whose information we hold.

3. Conduct we do not permit

You agree not to use the site to:

• break any applicable law or regulation, or encourage anyone else to do so;
• infringe the intellectual-property, privacy or other rights of any person;
• submit information that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, hateful or otherwise unlawful;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person;
• upload or transmit any virus, malware or other harmful code;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers or any connected system;
• probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the site, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measure;
• interfere with or disrupt the site or its infrastructure, including through excessive automated requests, denial-of-service activity or attempts to overwhelm our forms;
• collect or harvest information from the site by automated means except as our robots directives allow;
• use the site to send unsolicited commercial messages or to collect addresses for that purpose; or
• use the site in any way that could damage, disable or impair it or interfere with anyone else's use of it.

3a. Intellectual property and content

The content on the site belongs to Corpshore Solutions Corporation or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, republish, sell, licence or create derivative works from the content except as our terms and conditions allow, and you may not remove or obscure any notice of ownership. You may not use our name, logo or trademarks without our written permission, and you may not present the content in a way that suggests an association or endorsement that does not exist.

4. Forms and submissions

Our forms are for genuine enquiries, proposal requests, bookings, applications and subscriptions. Please provide accurate information, provide only the information the form asks for, and do not submit sensitive personal information in free-text fields unless it is necessary. We use bot and abuse protection on our forms, and we may rate-limit, block or decline submissions that appear automated, abusive or fraudulent. Do not use our forms to send unsolicited commercial content, to test or probe our defences, or to submit content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others. When you submit information about another person, you confirm that you are entitled to do so.

5. Security and reporting

We take the security of the site seriously. If you discover a vulnerability or a security concern, please report it responsibly to privacy@corpshore.ca and do not exploit it or disclose it publicly before we have had a reasonable chance to address it. Please do not access, alter or destroy data that is not your own.

5a. Availability of the site

We work to keep the site available and secure, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or free of interruption. We may need to suspend, withdraw or restrict access to all or part of the site for maintenance, security or operational reasons, and we may do so without notice where the circumstances require it. You are responsible for the security of the device and network you use to access the site.

6. Monitoring and enforcement

We may monitor use of the site to protect it and to enforce this policy, consistent with our privacy policy. We may investigate suspected breaches, and we may suspend or block access, remove content, or take other action we consider appropriate, including reporting activity to law enforcement where the law requires or permits it. Where your use of the site causes us loss or exposes us to a claim, our terms and conditions, including their indemnity, may apply. Nothing in this policy limits any other right or remedy we have at law.

7. Suspension and changes

We may suspend or withdraw access to the site, in whole or in part, for any user who breaches this policy, and we may change this policy as the site and the law evolve. The version published here is the version in force, and the date at the top shows when it was last revised. We may take these steps without notice where the circumstances require it, and doing so does not limit any other right or remedy we have.

7a. Your responsibility and our disclaimer

You are responsible for your use of the site and for any content you submit through it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss you suffer as a result of your own breach of this policy, your misuse of the site, or your reliance on content without your own professional advice. This policy works together with our terms and conditions and our privacy policy, and where there is any inconsistency about the handling of personal information, the privacy policy prevails.
